The Free 30
Day Yoga Challenge On Youtube
We start the 30 days with a light introduction and ideas for some tools you may want like a yoga mat, towel, bricks, and light easy clothes to move around in. All optional of course. This is a good time to set the motivation and intention and Adriene will help with that.
Day 1 – Show Up
Day 1 starts off with some invigorating tabletop exercises, engaging the core and building strength in the arms and shoulders. Moving seamlessly into various variations of Downward Facing Dog, the body stretches and lengthens, releasing tension in the hamstrings and calves. The practice concludes with the deeply relaxing Corpse Pose, allowing the mind and body to rest, rejuvenate, and integrate the benefits of the session. This sequence focuses on grounding, alignment, and breath control, providing a solid foundation for the days to come. Throughout the practice, attention is given to proper alignment and mindful transitions, ensuring a safe and effective yoga experience.
Day 2 – Listen
Today’s Yoga practice focuses on listening to the body. The class includes core work, standing poses, downward facing dog, plank pose, leg strengthening exercises, child’s pose, and corpse pose. By tuning into the experience and actively listening to my body, I could deepen the breathing part of the practice and find balance and center.
Day 3 – Shift
The main emphasis today is to enhance the legs. The video starts with a warm-up sequence targeting stretching the muscles surrounding the hips and core. The central pose highlighted is Warrior 2, with additional variations incorporated by Adriene to further elongate and fortify the leg muscles.
