Setting goals are fairly simple using your Fitbit app and not that much different if you're a sports athlete or a senior wanting better health. The main difference will be your determination, diligence, and mindset.
In your app on the front page click on your Account or image in the upper lefthand corner. Under setting tap on Activities & Wellness.

I'm using a Fitbit Charge 3 to document this set up so your process may be a little different. I plan on upgrading to a Charge 5 as soon as all the features are activated and will update these settings then.

The Cardio Fitness chart measures how well you use oxygen and cardiovascular fitness. Other factors taken into account are your weight and heart rate at rest.

The charts show the 4 stages of sleep each night and there are charts for our 30-day average and how we compare to others in our age group.
Tracking weight loss is important because there are so many of us overweight. I have set my goals and have a healthy diet to satisfy nutritional needs and an exercise plan that will not sacrifice health for weight loss.
Overall I'm pretty healthy, heart rate recovery is better than good, and sleep could be better. I am no longer obese, but still overweight according to the BMI chart.
Overall this has been a pretty good month, I lost almost 3 pounds & Cardio Fitness Score has gone up.
